Seat Ateca Brake Pedal Feedback

I am experiencing issues with the brakes on my 2018 Seat Ateca with a Gasoline engine. The vehicle has 182344 km on the odometer. Recently, I've noticed some unusual feedback coming from the brake pedal. I suspect the brake pads may be worn, potentially causing squeaky brakes. Could this be related to undervoltage in the vehicle affecting the brake system, or is it more likely to be worn brake shoes?

Squeaky brakes can be a pain. I had a similar experience with my Ateca. Check your brake pads. Are they worn?

Thanks for the quick reply. How did you determine that worn brake pads were the issue? Did you experience any other symptoms besides the noise? My car is giving some strange feedback from the brake pedal. Could it be related to metal brakes?

Yep, the weird pedal feel sounds familiar. In my case, the brake pads were worn unevenly, and that caused some electrical weirdness related to undervoltage. I would recommend taking it to a workshop to get it checked.

It was indeed a brake system issue related to undervoltage. Repairs cost 240€. Thanks for the advice.
