Seat Ateca Diesel Engine Trouble

My 2022 Seat Ateca with a diesel engine has a problem. Mileage is 107934 km. Engine runs rough, check engine light is on, and error memory says something about needing to 'reset quantity drift compensation'. Suspect it's the injection valve. Anyone seen this before?

Rough running and CEL, eh? Had similar on my old Renault Megane. Was also diesel. Have you checked the fuel injection system? Onboard diagnostics should give you a clue.

Fuel injection system was checked and showed an error related to 'reset quantity drift compensation'. What exactly was the fix on your Megane?

Ah, drift compensation. My issue was a defective injector. The ECU couldn't properly adjust the fuel injection anymore. New injector, reset drift compensation, problem solved. Get it checked at a workshop.

Ok, thanks for the input. Took it to the shop, injector was indeed faulty. Replaced it and reset the quantity drift compensation. Cost me 515€. Runs smooth again.
