Seat Ateca Lighting Fault

When you say 'fuse box', which fuses specifically should I be checking? And was it just the headlight switch itself that was the problem on your Octavia, or something else in the circuit?

Yes, same thing happened to me. It was the headlight switch itself, or rather, the connection to it. Fuses were all fine. But honestly, with electrical gremlins, you're better off letting a workshop diagnose it properly. Do you really want to risk messing something else up?

Took the Ateca to the workshop, and you were spot on. They found a dodgy connection in the headlight switch wiring. New plug connection, and all dashboard lights are behaving themselves again. Total damage 95€. Thanks for the advice!

Sounds familiar. Had a similar electrical problem with my Skoda Octavia a while back. Faulty automotive switch, lights going haywire. Have you checked the fuse box? It's a simple thing, but worth a look before tearing everything apart.
