Fuses are OK. You mentioned a similar issue on your Ateca. Was it also an electrical fault? Was a mirror replacement necessary, or was it just a plug connection problem?

Yep, same symptoms and same error. I didn't want to mess with the car mirror myself, especially with the electricals, so I took it to a workshop. They sorted it out quickly. Was it worth the effort of potentially breaking something trying to fix it myself? Probably not.

Just got it back from the shop. Turns out a cable to the mirror heater had corroded. 95€ later and all good.

I had something similar on my Ateca. The rearview mirror heating wasn't working during cold weather and the error memory was also showing a fault. Did you check the fuses?
