MOST bus fault? Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my old BMW 3 Series. No audio, nav system went crazy. Is your car throwing any specific error codes? Did you check the fuses?

Error memory shows a general MOST bus fault. Where was the problem in your BMW, and how did you figure it out? Which control unit was it?

That generic error code is a pain. In my case, it was the amplifier. The whole bus system relies on data transmission between the control units. If one component fails, it can bring the whole thing down. Honestly, without specialist car diagnostics equipment, it's tough to pinpoint the exact culprit. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop; they have the tools to isolate the faulty control unit.

Took it to the shop, and you were right. A faulty control unit on the MOST bus was the problem. Cost 1000€, but at least it's sorted. Thanks for the help.
