Seat Ateca Sun Blind Problem

I have a 2023 Seat Ateca with a gasoline engine. My sun blind is defective it's stuck and won't retract or extend. Plus, there's an error code stored. Seems like the motor might be the problem. Has anyone experienced something similar with their car sunshade? Any ideas before I potentially face a 330€ sunshade repair?

I have a Seat Ateca too! My sun blind acted up similarly last year. It was like wrestling with a stubborn window shade that just wouldn't cooperate. Did you check if anything is physically blocking the sun visor?

Yep, pretty much the same. The error code cinched it for me. It turned out to be a faulty motor for the sun blind. Honestly, I didn't try any DIY fixes. I just took it straight to the workshop. Best to get it sorted professionally, especially with electrics involved.

I went to the workshop, and they confirmed it was the sun blind motor. I got it replaced for 330€. Now the sun protection works perfectly again!
