Seat Ateca Terminal 15 Ignition Error
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Seat Ateca with a diesel engine is experiencing a Terminal 15 ignition error, preventing the engine from starting. The likely cause is identified as a defective cable or plug connection. Suggestions include checking the relay switch and battery terminal connections, with a recommendation to consult a workshop for electrical faults. Ultimately, a garage confirmed the issue as a defective cable/plug connection, which was resolved with a replacement.

Thanks for the quick reply! Which relay switch are you referring to exactly? Did your error memory also mention Terminal 15? I've already checked the Ignition switch, and it seems ok.

Yep, the error code was the same, Terminal 15. For me it was a relay switch related to the Ignition switch power supply. Honestly, unless you are comfortable tracing electrical faults, I'd recommend getting it checked out at a workshop. Could save you a lot of time and potential headaches.

Took the Ateca to the garage, and they confirmed a defective cable/plug connection was the issue. Replacement cost 95€. Thanks for the help!

Sounds like a similar problem I had with my Ateca. Have you checked the relay switch? It might be a faulty circuit break. Double check the battery terminal connections to rule out a power supply issue.
