Seat Ateca Tire Pressure ABS and Steering Problems

I am experiencing an issue with my 2021 Seat Ateca, diesel engine. The tire pressure low warning light is on. Additionally, the ABS lamp lights up, the steering wheel vibrates, and increased effort is required when steering, indicating potential power steering failure. I suspect a defective valve in the tire. Has anyone else encountered this?

I had a similar issue with my Ateca. The low tire pressure warning came on, and I noticed the steering wheel vibrating. Have you checked all your tires for punctures? Even a small nail can cause a slow air leak. Also, examine the tire sidewalls for any signs of damage.

Yes, I checked for punctures and didn't find anything obvious. I Inflated tires to the correct pressure. But, may I ask if your power steering also failed when you experienced this issue?

Yes, that's exactly what happened to me. The power steering failing is a symptom of the same issue. It's likely a slow air leak caused by a faulty tire valve. I would suggest taking it to a workshop to get the valve replaced.

Thank you for confirming my suspicions. I took it to the workshop, and it turns out the valve in the tire was indeed defective. The repair cost me 280€. Now the Tire monitoring system is working, and the ABS lamp is no longer lit.
