Fuel rail pressure sensor? Where is that located? Can I check it myself, or should I take it to a mechanic?

The fuel rail pressure sensor is usually on the fuel rail connected to the injectors. You could check the wiring and connections, but I don't advise tampering with it if you're not experienced. Given the symptoms and fuel filter change, air could be trapped, or the pressure sensor damaged. Error entry could also be the reason. I suggest a workshop visit.

Okay, issue resolved! It was a faulty fuel pressure regulator. Cost 45€ to replace it. Thanks for the advice!

I had similar issues with my old Renault Megane, also a diesel. Check engine light and engine misfire. Was the fuel filter changed recently? Air in the system can mess with the pressure sensor readings. Have you checked the fuel rail pressure sensor?
