Seat Cordoba Washer Fluid Freezing

I'm having a problem with my 2001 Seat Cordoba with a gasoline engine and about 139371 km on the clock. The washer fluid keeps freezing up when it gets cold, which is a pain for winter driving! I scanned for errors, and it's showing something about the washer heater. I'm guessing it's the washer heater that's faulty, but I'm not sure where to start looking. Could it be the heating element itself? I'm hoping it's something simple. Has anyone experienced this before?

I had a similar problem with my Cordoba a while back. The washer fluid kept freezing up. Have you checked the plug connection to the washer heater? That's where I would start. A faulty connection can definitely cause the error memory to store faults.

Where exactly is that plug connection located? I'm not super familiar with car stuff, but I'm willing to give it a shot before taking it to a mechanic. Is it easy to get to?

It’s best to get it checked out by someone who knows what they are doing. In my case it was the plug, causing a heater malfunction. If you are not comfortable doing it, I would suggest taking it to a workshop.

Took it to the shop, and you were right! It was a bad connection to the washer heater. They fixed it for 95€, and now it's working perfectly. Thanks for the help!
