Seat Cordoba Washer System Failure

I'm having a weird issue with my 2002 Seat Cordoba diesel. The headlight cleaning system has stopped working, and now the windshield washer system isn't working either. I've checked the fuses, and they seem okay. Any ideas what could be causing this? Could it be a problem with the headlight cleaning system?

A faulty headlight cleaning system can affect the windshield washer system if they share components. Check the hose connections to the pump and relay. Are your headlight LEDs working correctly?

Where exactly should I be looking for the pump and relay? I'm not very familiar with the system's layout. And yes, the LEDs in the headlights are working fine.

The pump and relay are likely near the washer fluid reservoir. Given both systems are affected and the LEDs work, it points towards a pump or relay issue, or a defective cable. I recommend a workshop visit for a proper diagnosis.

I got the Seat back. The mechanic found a corroded cable connection at the headlight cleaning system pump, like you thought. It cost 165€ to fix. Everything's working again, even the windshield washer system. Thanks for your help!
