Yes, I used an OBD-II scan tool and received some error codes pertaining to the communication bus. When you had the problem, was it consistently reproducible, or did it occur randomly?

Mine was completely random. It would happen maybe once a week, then not at all for a month. It was super annoying because the workshop couldn't find anything at first. I'd suggest telling your mechanic to specifically check the cable connections to the control units, especially the one for the infotainment system. It could save them a lot of time and expense. If it's a defective cable, it's a relatively quick fix, but finding it is the challenge.

I wanted to share that the workshop located a faulty cable connection to the BUS system, just as you suggested. They repaired it for 155€ and everything appears to be functioning correctly now. Thank you for your assistance.

That sounds familiar. I experienced similar problems with my Exeo, although I don't recall the specific error codes. The audio and navigation were malfunctioning, and occasionally the entire system would freeze. Did you already check the error memory with a scan tool? It might provide a clue. My warning light also illuminated intermittently.
