Seat Exeo engine issues

Interesting! How did you figure out it was the oxygen sensor? I've read about those causing issues, but I thought it was more of a catalytic converter problem when the air-fuel ratio is off. And spark plugs... hmm, I think they were done maybe 50000 km ago?

Well, the oxygen sensor was the first thing I checked because it's a relatively cheap fix. But in my case, the mechanic said the readings were all over the place, pointing to a possible fuel delivery problem. Think of it like a dodgy tap – it's either spraying too much or not enough. Eventually, after some diagnostics, it turned out to be a faulty injector. Given your mileage and symptoms, I'd say it's worth getting the injectors properly checked. It's probably best to take it to a workshop.

Just got the car back. You were spot on! Took it to a trusted workshop, and turns out one of the injectors was indeed faulty. They replaced it, and the car is running like a dream again. Cost me 515€, but it was worth it to get rid of that awful jerking and stalling. Thanks a million for your help!

Sounds familiar! I had almost the same thing happen with my Exeo. Check engine light, rough idle, the whole shebang. Have you checked the oxygen sensor? A faulty one can really mess with the air-fuel ratio and cause mixture problems. Also, when were the spark plugs last changed?
