Throttle body, huh? I haven't touched that. Where is that located, and is it a big job to clean? I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty, but I don't want to mess anything up.

Cleaning the throttle body might help temporarily, but if the intake is heavily contaminated like mine was, it's probably the idle air control valve itself. Honestly, unless you're really comfortable working on cars, I'd take it to a workshop. They can diagnose it properly and replace the valve if needed. Save yourself the headache.

It was the idle air control valve, or so the shop said. The intake was apparently gunked up. Cost 425€ to fix, but the engine stalling is gone. Thanks for the tip!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Exeo: check engine light, stalling engine at idle. Did you try cleaning the throttle body? That sometimes helps with idle issues.
