Interesting you mention starting issues. The car did seem a little sluggish to turn over a few times recently. Did replacing the battery completely resolve your issue, or was there anything else involved, like the seat harness or seat wiring?

Yep, new battery sorted it completely. Mechanic mentioned the Exeo is sensitive to voltage drops. He reckoned the low voltage was enough to scramble the seat module and throw the error. He suggested checking the seat wiring for corrosion, but for me it was only the battery. I'd get it checked out by a professional, just in case.

Took the Exeo to the workshop. They confirmed the heavily discharged battery. New battery fitted and the passenger electric seat is now working perfectly. Total cost was 290€. Thanks for the help, it confirmed my suspicions before going to the garage.

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I had almost the same problem with my Seat Exeo! The passenger seat was totally unresponsive. Did the whole scan thing and got a similar error. I was going nuts trying to figure it out. Any chance you've been having issues starting the car, or noticed any other electrical weirdness?
