Seat Exeo System Readiness Issue

Interesting. When you say 'some driving,' could you be more specific? What sort of driving conditions are we talking about? I've read a bit about OBD readiness and drive cycles, and it seems quite particular. Any insights on that, or was it just a case of driving normally until the error cleared?

Yeah, it was a while ago, but I think it was related to the OBD readiness. Honestly, I didn't do anything special. I just drove it for a few days, and the light eventually went off. I remember being worried about the exhaust system at the time. If it doesn't clear after a week, maybe it's worth getting it checked, just in case. Better safe than sorry, right?

The issue is now resolved. It seems the OBD readiness monitors simply needed to complete their drive cycle after the diagnostic scan. No actual fault existed. Thanks for the insight; it saved me a trip to the mechanic and potentially unnecessary work!

I've had something similar with my Exeo. The check engine light came on after an OBD scan. I'm no expert, but it might just need some driving to reset itself. Have you tried that?
