Seat Exeo TPMS Issues

I'm getting rather frustrated with my 2010 Seat Exeo diesel. I'm constantly getting a 'Tire Pressure Too Low' warning, even though my tire pressure is fine. The speedometer shows the error message, and the error memory stores the fault. Could this be a simple sensor fault, maybe the sensor battery is empty? Has anyone else experienced this kind of TPMS issue?

Strange, I had a similar issue with my Exeo a while back. Kept getting low tire warnings, even though the tires were properly inflated. Was the error message consistent, or did it come and go? Did you check the error memory?

Yes, the error message is always there on the speedometer, and VCDS confirms the error memory stores the fault. How did you finally resolve your tire pressure issue? I'm thinking it might be the sensor batteries, but I'm not entirely sure.

Yep, sounds exactly like what I experienced. It was the sensor batteries in my case. They eventually just die. I would recommend going to a workshop and getting them checked or replaced. That should solve your flat tire problem, hopefully.

You were spot on. The workshop confirmed it was the tire pressure sensor. Replaced all four, costing 280€. A bit painful, but at least the error is gone. Thanks again for your help.
