You mentioned checking the battery connections. Could you elaborate a bit more on what exactly I should be looking for I'm familiar with basic car maintenance, but ECU diagnostics are new territory for me

The Renault was throwing a heap of errors because of it. The battery terminals were corroded, causing the voltage to drop intermittently. Cleaned them up, tightened everything, and the errors vanished. If that doesn't fix it, you might need a new battery or alternator. Honestly, I'd take it to a workshop for a proper check. They can pinpoint the issue with automotive diagnostics gear

The Seat workshop confirmed undervoltage was triggering the ECU fault. They cleared the error memory and inspected the battery. The bill was 240€ Thanks for the advice

That sounds like a proper headache I had something similar happen with my old Renault Megane. The car electronics were going haywire. Check your battery connections first. A loose connection can cause undervoltage and throw all sorts of ECU faults. Is the car struggling to start
