Seat Formentor Hybrid Sensor Issues

I am experiencing a rather perplexing issue with my 2022 Seat Formentor hybrid. I consistently receive an error message stored in the error memory related to the fog sensor. Concurrently, the air conditioning system refuses to activate, the spray nozzles freeze during cold weather, and the mirror heating remains non-functional. From what I gather, a likely cause is a defective cable or plug connection to the component. Has anyone encountered a similar electrical issue affecting the windshield fogging and humidity sensor, thus impacting the climate control and other car sensors? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar issue with my Formentor. The symptoms you describe sound very familiar. Did you check the humidity sensor near the windshield? That was the culprit in my case.

I didn't diagnose it myself, to be honest. I just noticed the climate control was acting up and the windshield was constantly fogging. My local garage identified the faulty humidity sensor. I recommend getting it checked by a professional. It could save you a lot of time and potential headaches.
