Seat Formentor starting issue resolved

I'm having trouble with my 2022 diesel Seat Formentor. I'm getting a 'Terminal 30 continuous plus interrupted' error and it struggles to start. I suspect a heavily discharged or defective battery. I checked the fuse box, but everything seems fine. Could a short circuit be draining the battery?

Sounds like a bad battery. Have you checked the voltage? Does it drop significantly when starting?

How do I check for a voltage drop? What tools do I need? Can I do it myself without risking damage?

If you're not comfortable using a multimeter, don't risk it. A voltage drop test needs specific equipment. It might be a faulty cell in the battery. Take it to a workshop to avoid further electrical problems.

The workshop confirmed a defective battery was the problem. A replacement fixed everything, costing 290€. Thanks for the advice.
