Battery testing? What kind of testing are we talking about? How did you pinpoint the issue with your car?

By battery testing, I mean checking the battery charge and voltage under load. A faulty battery sensor can indeed cause those symptoms. It's difficult to be certain without proper vehicle diagnostics, however. Considering the symptoms, it might be worth taking it to a workshop.

It was the battery sensor. Vehicle diagnostics confirmed it. 315€ later, the battery voltage is stable and the lights don't flicker anymore. Thanks for the insight.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Ibiza. The battery was constantly draining, and the lights would dim intermittently. Have you done any battery testing to confirm low voltage?
