Seat Ibiza cold start issue

Sounds familiar! I had similar cold start problems with my Ibiza. Have you tried injector cleaning? It might be a fuel delivery issue.

Yes, exact same symptoms. Rough running and hard starting when cold. Eventually, the issue got worse. A mechanic checked it out and said it was the injection valve injector defective. I'd recommend getting yours checked at a workshop.

Took it to the workshop as you suggested. Turns out it was a faulty cold start injector. They replaced it, and the hard starting issue is gone. Cost me about 515€, but at least it's fixed. Thanks for the advice!
