Seat Ibiza Multifunction Steering Wheel Error

I had something similar with my Ibiza. The malfunction indicator didn't light up, but the buttons on the steering wheel were non-responsive. Was there an electrical fault registered in the control module when you scanned it? Perhaps a steering column issue?

Indeed, the diagnosis pointed to a defective cable within the steering wheel. I suggest a workshop visit to avoid further complications with the steering wheel control module.

Confirmed faulty cable connection in the steering wheel. Cost me 95€ at the workshop and it is all fixed.
