Seat Ibiza phone connection problem

Hi. I have a 2014 Seat Ibiza with a diesel engine. I am experiencing function restrictions. My smartphone cannot be connected, and there is an error stored in the error memory. Any ideas what could be wrong? I have no issues with steering, transmission or brakes.

Whoa, that sounds frustrating! I had something similar happen with my Ibiza, though mine is a bit older. Could be some electrical faults messing with the infotainment system. Did you check if the Bluetooth connection is stable on other devices? Sometimes it's just a weird glitch.

Interesting. When you say 'similar', do you mean the phone connection issue specifically, or were there other malfunctions involved? What did you do to fix it?

Yeah, it was the phone connection for me too. The whole infotainment system was acting up, throwing errors. I tried everything, but in the end, I had to take it to a workshop. They told me there was some issue with the pairing and some general electrical faults stored. Better get it checked out before it causes more problems.

Thanks for the advice. It turned out to be a simple incorrect pairing with my phone. The workshop cleared the error memory, and it cost me 45€. Everything is working fine now.
