Seat Ibiza Turn Signal Issue

Thanks for the input. When you say connectors, do you mean where the bulb plugs into the housing, or further back in the wiring? And how would I know if the bulb housing is damaged? I don't see any obvious cracks or anything. When you mention 'electrical fault', what exactly are you referring to? What does it mean, in simple terms?

Yeah, the connectors are where the bulb plugs into the housing. Give them a wiggle and see if anything changes. By housing, I mean the whole plastic bit that holds the bulb. If it's been bumped or something, it might have a crack you can't see easily that's letting water in and shorting things out. 'Electrical fault' is just a general term for something wrong with the electrics – could be a loose wire, a short circuit, or a dodgy connection somewhere. If you're not confident, I'd say get it checked out by a workshop. Automotive lighting can be tricky.

Took the Ibiza to the shop as suggested. They confirmed the broken lens issue, and the electrical fault in the turn signal. The cable and plug connection were indeed defective, just as suspected. Glad it was a relatively cheap fix, cost me 95€. Thanks for your help!

Sounds like an electrical fault to me. I had a similar issue with my Ibiza a while back. The turn signal would sometimes work, sometimes not. Check the bulb itself first, then look at the connectors. Is the bulb housing damaged at all?
