The door actuator? Where exactly is that located, and is it something I can check myself without special tools? I'm fairly handy, but I don't want to break anything.

Yes, the door actuator is inside the door itself, part of the locking system. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend trying to fix it yourself unless you're confident. You have to remove the door panel and carefully disconnect everything. Given the error message and my own experience, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. Could save you a lot of hassle. They will check the electric door and door mechanism and hopefully find the issue.

The problem's sorted. It was a defective cable/plug connection, just like the error memory indicated. Cost 95€ at the workshop. Thanks for the help!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Renault Megane, although it was the driver's side door. The keyless entry stopped working, and the error memory also had something stored. Have you checked the door actuator? That's what they call the little motor inside the car door that controls the locking system. Maybe the electric door mechanism is faulty?
