Seat Inca massage seat switch issue

My 2000 Seat Inca with a gasoline engine has a massage seat switch that is not working. The massage function cannot be switched on, and there is an error stored in the error memory. The likely cause, according to the diagnostics, is a defective cable or plug connection. Any ideas?

I also drive a Seat Inca, although I don't remember the exact build year. I had similar issues with my automotive seats. First I thought it was car upholstery problem. Is the error always present, or does it come and go?

The error is always present. I checked the fuse, and it seems to be fine. Did you check the seat motor or the switch itself? Or just the cable?

Yes, I also checked the seat motor and the switch, but the problem was indeed the cable or plug connection. Given that an error is already stored, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. Expected repair cost should be around 95€.

Thanks, I appreciate it. As suggested I went to the workshop and it was indeed a defective cable or plug connection. Repair cost 95€ as expected.
