Seat Inca rough running issue

Alright, so I've got this 2003 Seat Inca, gasoline engine. Lately, it's been running rough, like it's not getting enough fuel. Engine power is down, and the check engine light is on. It even jerks a bit when I try to accelerate. Could this be an injection valve or injector problem?

Lean running on a Inca, huh? First thought is always vacuum leaks, but you've got the check engine light on. Have you checked the oxygen sensor readings? What about the mass air flow sensor? Is it reporting correctly?

Oxygen sensor readings... mass air flow sensor... Reporting correctly...? How would I even check those things?

Could be a few things, but given the symptoms and the check engine light, a faulty injector is definitely a strong possibility. A scan tool will show you the sensor readings. If you're not comfortable with that, probably best to take it to a workshop.

Thanks for the help. Took it to a shop, and you were right, it was an injector. Cost me 515€ to get it sorted.
