Seat Inca Sun Blind Problem

Thanks for the reply. The error code is a generic one. I did check the fuses, and they seem fine. Any other ideas before I consider taking it to a workshop? Is it difficult to access the sun blind motor?

Given the generic error code and the fact that the fuses are okay, it does indeed point towards a defective motor for the sun blind. Accessing it can be tricky, often involving removing interior trim panels. Considering the age of the vehicle and the potential complexity, a workshop visit might be the most efficient and safest route to resolve the car blind issue.

Big thanks for your input. I bit the bullet and took it to a garage. They confirmed it was the sun blind motor and replaced the whole unit. Cost me around 330€. Ouch, but at least the car interior is back to normal and I have my UV protection again.

Hmm, a faulty sun blind on a 2002 Inca isn't something I've encountered often. Is the error memory showing a specific code, or just a general fault regarding the interior accessory? Have you checked the fuse box to see if there is a blown fuse for the car blind circuit?
