Hey, thanks for your feedback! Damn, that sounds really depressing. Hopefully it won't be that bad for me. Can you still remember how much the fun with the radiator cost you? And has anything else been wrong since then or is your Ibiza running smoothly again? Thanks and best regards!

Hey, you're welcome! Well, in my case, the repair cost 270 euros because the wiring harness of the radiator shutter behind the bumper was defective or worn out. Since I took the car to the mechanic, my Ibiza has been running like clockwork again - no trace of the malfunction in the cooling air flap system. It was worth every penny, and I hope it won't be as bad for you. Greetings!

Hey, thanks a lot for the information. That really helps me. I also hope that it doesn't get that far with my Leon, but it's good to know that it can be done and that everything will work again afterwards. I'll try my luck at the garage now. Keep your fingers crossed that everything will be back in the green again soon! Greetings and thanks again!

Good day! I'm experiencing problems with the cooling air flap system in my Seat Ibiza from 2019 with a petrol engine and 44 700 km. Could you please provide advice on troubleshooting and repairing it? Specifically, I'm looking for common causes of failure, recommended diagnostic steps, and any DIY repair tips you might have. Thank you!

The cooling air flap system is a crucial part of your car's cooling system. If it's malfunctioning, it could lead to overheating. Here are some steps you can take: 1. Check the coolant level: If it's low, it could be the reason for overheating. Refill it if necessary. 2. Inspect the radiator: Look for any visible damages or leaks. If there's a leak, you'll need to replace the radiator. 3. Check the cooling fan: If it's not working properly, it could cause overheating. You might need to replace the fan if it's not functioning. Remember, if you're not comfortable doing these checks yourself, it's always best to take your car to a professional mechanic. Overheating can lead to serious engine damage, so it's important to address this issue promptly.

Hello, I recently had similar problems with my 2014 Seat Ibiza. It really wasn't a walk in the park. In my case, it was actually the radiator that failed. After closer inspection, it turned out that a crack was the cause. It was a serious matter and my garage had to replace the entire radiator. I'm not sure if it's the same problem for you, but it could be. You can only know for sure if you have a professional look at it. Greetings!
