Seat Leon Electrical Malfunctions
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Seat Leon with a diesel engine experienced issues with a dead navigation system and random electrical malfunctions, though the engine started fine. The problem was identified as the car being in "transport mode," a setting used during shipping to disable certain electrical functions. The solution involved a dealer performing a software procedure to disable transport mode, resolving the electrical issues.

Transport mode? Interesting. I recently bought it. How did you resolve it? Can I do it myself, or do I need a mechanic?

Yes, that sounds like the same issue. You cannot fix it yourself. A dealer visit and software procedure are needed to disable transport mode. They tell the car to wake up. The software procedure itself is inexpensive, but the labor to connect to diagnostics might cost something. My repair cost was 0€ because the car was new. Do not reset things yourself, as you could damage the car's electronics. Take it to a workshop.

The dealership resolved the issue. It was transport mode. A software procedure fixed everything. Thanks for the help!

That sounds like the transport mode issue I experienced. When new, cars enter a mode that disables electrical functions to save battery during shipping and storage. This affects navigation and causes electrical issues. It's like airplane mode, but for a car. Did you recently purchase the car?
