Seat Leon Hybrid Engine Stalling Issue

I'm officially losing my mind! My 2022 Seat Leon hybrid is throwing a fit. The check engine light is constantly on, and the engine keeps stalling at idle, especially when it's warm. I suspect a fuel tank ventilation system leak, probably a defective activated charcoal filter. Anyone else experienced this nightmare?

Whoa, sounds like a real pain! Had a similar issue with my old Audi A3 a few years back. Check engine light kept popping up, and the engine would stall at idle. The mechanic mentioned something about the EVAP system being faulty. Have you checked the purge valve? It could be stuck open or closed causing a system failure.

The purge valve, huh? Where exactly is that located, and is it something I could check myself, or am I better off leaving it to the pros?

Yeah, I wouldn't mess with the purge valve yourself unless you're comfortable with that sort of thing. For me it was definitely the charcoal filter in the end. If it's anything like my experience, it's probably best to get it checked by a professional. Could save you a lot of hassle in the long run.

Massive thanks for sharing your experience! Took it to the shop, and you nailed it – the activated charcoal filter was the culprit. New filter, pressure sensor reset, and the check engine light is gone. Cost me 275€, but at least my Leon is running smoothly again. Fuel efficiency seems back to normal too!
