Seat Leon Hybrid Gearbox Slipping

I am experiencing a concerning issue with my 2020 Seat Leon hybrid. With 195838 km on the odometer, the gearbox slips and shifts uncleanly. Initial assessment suggests a transfer case oil wear fault, likely caused by defective gears. I am trying to understand the potential scope of the problem.

I also have a Leon, and I experienced something similar. The gearbox felt off, especially during shifts. Have you checked for any signs of oil leakage near the transfer case?

I appreciate the insight. When you had the issue, was it definitively gear wear in the transfer case itself? Did you also notice any specific gear oil issues?

Yes, in my case it was confirmed to be gear wear within the transfer case. Low gear oil was another symptom. I'd suggest a workshop inspection to confirm.

Thank you for the confirmation. I had the transfer case examined at a workshop. Mechanical wear was indeed found on the gears due to oil leakage, resulting in the oil wear fault. The repair cost came to 330€.
