Seat Leon Hybrid Microphone Issue Resolved

I did try to reconnect my phone via Bluetooth, but it didn't work. Do you think it could be related to the speech recognition system instead?

If re-pairing didn't fix it and there's an error code, it does sound like a deeper problem than just the wireless connection. The speech recognition depends on the microphone, so a fault there could definitely be the cause. If the ambient noise cancellation is also affected, then it all points to a faulty infotainment system. Best to get it checked by a workshop.

Thanks for the input. It was indeed the infotainment unit. Had to replace it. Cost me 815€, but at least the hands-free is working again.

That sounds frustrating. Have you tried checking the wireless connection settings to see if the car's Bluetooth is properly paired with your phone? Sometimes a simple re-pairing can resolve these kinds of issues. It's like when your computer speakers suddenly stop working, and all you need to do is reconnect them.
