Seat Leon Hybrid PCV Valve Issue

Interesting. Oil consumption seems normal, nothing out of the ordinary. But you mentioned your Leon had similar symptoms. Was it definitely the PCV valve that caused the smoke on acceleration?

Yes, the smoke was the giveaway. The PCV valve malfunctioned, causing excessive crankcase pressure and forcing oil past the piston rings. If you're seeing smoke, especially under load, and the CEL is on, I'd wager it's a defective PCV valve. I'd recommend getting it checked at a workshop. Letting it linger can mess with your emissions control system.

Excellent advice. I appreciate the confirmation. Took it to the workshop; PCV valve was indeed the culprit. 360€ later and she's breathing clean again. Thanks for the help!

Sounds eerily familiar. I had a similar experience with my Leon, though it wasn't a hybrid. The smoke, the CEL, the pathetic power... all signs pointed to the PCV. Have you checked for excessive oil consumption too?
