Seat Leon NOx Sensor Issue

Alright, I'm getting a NOx sensor failure on my 2016 Seat Leon with a gasoline engine. Mileage is 54894 km. Check engine light is on, error code's stored, and I think I can hear a slight leak in the exhaust system. Suspect it's a dodgy cable or plug on the sensor itself. Anyone seen this before?

I had a similar issue with my Leon. The check engine light came on and I remember something about the nitrogen oxide levels. Was a pain.

Did yours throw an error code related to the NOx sensor as well? And did you notice any difference in the exhaust system sound before you got it sorted?

Yes, same error. I didn't notice anything with the exhaust itself, but the light was annoying. I'd suggest getting it checked, especially with the exhaust issue you mentioned. Could become a bigger problem later on.

Cheers for the help. Turns out it was just a faulty connection on the NOx sensor cable, like I suspected. 95€ at the workshop and all sorted. At least the exhaust leak was also addressed while they were at it.
