Seat Leon passenger electric seat failure

Thanks for the quick reply! I did check the seat harness for any obvious damage or loose connections, but everything seemed fine at a glance. Could there be a more subtle issue with the seat harness that I'm missing? Is there a way to test the seat harness?

It might be something subtle with the seat harness, like a broken wire inside the insulation. But honestly, chasing those kinds of gremlins can be a nightmare. In my case with the Volvo, it turned out to be low voltage due to a failing battery. It can cause all sorts of weird electrical issues. Considering the age of your Leon, and the error code pointing towards a discharged battery, I would advise getting it checked by a professional. It may be the battery! Why spend hours fiddling with the seat harness when it could be a simple fix?

It was a heavily discharged battery after all. Replaced it, and the error's gone. Power seats are working perfectly again. Cost me 290€ at the workshop. Thanks for the advice!

Electric car seats can be a real pain, I hear you! Had a similar issue with my old Volvo. The power seats just stopped responding, and an error kept popping up. Did you check the seat harness? Sometimes a loose connection there can cause havoc with the seat adjustment. Is the seat harness ok?
