Interesting! Was your steering heavy too? And did you have any error lights on the dash?

Yep, heavy steering was the main thing, felt like I was driving a tank! And yeah, the error light was on constantly. Honestly, after checking the easy stuff, I just took it to a workshop. Best bet is to get it checked professionally, could be a more serious steering pump issue.

You were spot on! Turns out it was a dodgy cable connection. 95€ later and she's steering like a dream again. Thanks a lot!

Woah, sounds rough! Had something similar happen with my old Vauxhall Astra. The steering went all wonky. Have you checked the hydraulic fluid level? Or maybe it's a pressure hose issue?
