Seat Leon Radio Reception Signal Issue

My 2021 Seat Leon hybrid has a radio reception issue. The infotainment system shows an error, and there's no audio. Error memory shows related faults. Mileage is 189141 km. I'm thinking it's a defective antenna.

I had similar radio interference with my Leon. Check the antenna connection for corrosion. A weak FM signal could mean there's a fault there.

Corrosion at the antenna base is something I'll check. Did you also get an error message on the infotainment system, or was there just no audio?

Yeah, same thing – infotainment error and no audio. The signal amplifier seemed okay. I took it to a shop, and they said it was the antenna. These car electronics can be sensitive.

Replacing the antenna solved it. Turns out the antenna ground was faulty. Cost me 255€. Thanks for the help.
