Seat Mii Battery Issues

I'm having a bit of a nightmare with my 2020 Seat Mii, gasoline engine. It's got about 65558 km on the clock. Recently, I've been getting a 'discharged battery' error on the speedometer. The lights are also flickering sometimes, and the engine is struggling to start. I scanned for errors and there are some stored related to low voltage. I'm suspecting it might be the car battery sensor, but I'm not entirely sure. Has anyone experienced anything similar? It feels like chasing a ghost in the machine, you know?

Sounds like a dodgy battery sensor to me. I had a similar issue with my old Vauxhall Corsa. The car was throwing all sorts of errors because of a low battery. Have you checked the battery terminals for corrosion?

Interesting. So, the Corsa had similar symptoms? Was it also showing a 'discharged battery' error, even though the car would eventually start?

Yep, the Corsa was doing the same thing. It would eventually start, but the errors were constant. Think of it like a leaky tap – the battery is constantly draining. Replacing the sensor sorted it out. I'd advise getting it checked out at a workshop to confirm.

Took it to the workshop and you were spot on. It was indeed the battery sensor. Cost me 315€ to get it sorted. Thanks a lot for your help!
