Thanks for the quick reply! When you say 'door switch', do you mean the actual physical switch inside the car, or something else within the door itself? Any idea what I should look for, like a specific wire or connector?

Yes, I mean the door sensor inside the door itself. In my case, it was the wiring harness that connects to the sensor. The mechanic told me that this is a frequent problem. You could try to check the wiring, but honestly, it can be tricky. If you're not comfortable, I would suggest taking it to a workshop before you damage something.

Took it to the workshop, and it was indeed a defective wiring harness in the door, causing the contact signal issue. They replaced it for 95€. Everything is working perfectly now. Thanks again for your help!

I had a similar issue with my Mii recently. The door wouldn't lock or unlock sometimes. Have you checked the door switch itself? It might be a faulty door sensor or a loose plug connection.
