Seat Mii Electric High Voltage System Error

I am writing to inquire about a high-voltage system error in my Seat Mii, build year 2021, electric engine. The error memory stores a corresponding fault, and the engine shuts off intermittently, accompanied by reduced engine power. I suspect a heavily discharged or defective battery. Could this be related to a faulty voltage sensor?

The error message and symptoms you describe do point towards a high-voltage system issue. It's like a heart murmur in a human – hard to pinpoint without proper diagnostics. Has the vehicle been exposed to extreme temperatures or moisture lately? Check for obvious cable damage in the electrical wiring.

Thank you for the quick reply. Regarding the electrical wiring, is there a specific area of the high-voltage system I should focus on when checking for cable damage? I am not sure where the voltage sensor is located.

It's difficult to say remotely, but water ingress can cause all sorts of EV problem, especially around the high-voltage system connectors. Given the symptoms, further investigation is needed. I would advise a qualified workshop to check the electrical wiring and all connectors. It does sound like a voltage sensor issue.

Understood. The voltage sensor was indeed the culprit, likely due to cable damage in the high-voltage system. Repair cost came to 290€. Thank you for your input.
