Summary of the thread
The 2020 Seat Mii Electric has a problem with a non-functional hands-free microphone, making telephony impossible. The issue is suspected to be a defective infotainment system, as indicated by an error in the audio system. A similar case confirmed that replacing the infotainment unit resolved the problem, though it involved a significant cost.

Yeah, I checked the fuses already, all good. So, you're saying the whole infotainment unit is toast? Was it the exact same symptoms? Did you also get an error stored?

Yep, same symptoms, same error stored. Tried everything, even resetting the wireless connection and altering the software, but nothing worked. Eventually, I had to bite the bullet and take it to a workshop. They confirmed it was the infotainment system and replaced it. Prepare for a hefty bill!

Thanks, that's exactly what it was! The audio system was indeed defective. Had to replace it, costing me 815€. Ouch!

Hey there! I had a similar issue with my Mii's Bluetooth connection dropping constantly and the speech recognition going haywire. The audio input was completely dead, so telephony was impossible. Have you checked the fuse for the audio system? It might be a simple fix, but in my case, it wasn't. I suspect you have the same problem I did, a faulty infotainment unit.
