Seat Mii Electric steering and ABS issues
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Seat Mii Electric is experiencing issues with the tire pressure warning, ABS light, and heavy steering, suggesting a potential power steering failure. The problem is suspected to be due to a valve issue causing tire pressure loss. A similar case revealed that a defective valve stem led to a slow leak, affecting both the ABS and power steering. The recommended solution is to have the vehicle checked at a workshop to address the valve issue and ensure safe driving.

So what was the root cause in your case? And did you experience similar issues, like the ABS lamp and steering problems?

Yep, same symptoms, more or less! Turned out to be a defective valve stem in one of the tires causing a slow leak. Because of the pressure loss, the ABS went haywire and that affected the power steering, apparently. Get it checked at a workshop pronto. Driving like that isn't safe.

Confirmed valve issue. Replaced all tires as they were near end of life anyway. Cost 280€.

Whoa, that sounds rough! I had something similar happen with my Mii, though maybe not as intense. Kept getting the tire pressure low warning light. Checked the pressure with my tire gauge religiously and inflated tires every few days, but it kept coming back! Drove me absolutely bonkers. Did you check your pressure manually or just rely on the tire monitoring system?
