Seat Mii Jerking with Engine Light On
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Seat Mii was experiencing issues with the engine light on, jerking during acceleration, a whistling noise, and stalling at idle. These symptoms suggested a potential boost leak or faulty boost pressure sensor. A similar case was resolved by checking turbocharger hoses for cracks or loose connections. Ultimately, the problem was identified as a faulty boost pressure sensor cable, which was replaced, resolving the issue and restoring normal vehicle performance.

Thanks for the suggestion! Where exactly did you find the boost leak? Was it obvious, or did you have to really search for it? And you are sure yours was a gasoline engine Mii, right?

Yep, gasoline engine Mii. The hissing gave it away instantly; that's definitely a boost leak. Mine was a slightly loose hose on the turbocharger intercooler. The garage should be able to check the boost sensor and all the vacuum lines quickly. Might save you some time and headache. Definitely take it in!

It was the boost pressure sensor cable. The garage replaced the plug, and the engine light is gone. Runs like new now. Total cost was 95€. Thanks for the help!

Whoa, sounds familiar! I had almost the exact same symptoms in my Mii. Engine light on, jerking, the hissing... I bet it's a boost leak somewhere. Have you checked the turbocharger hoses for cracks or loose connections? Mine was doing the same thing, and a simple hose clamp tightening fixed it for me. Is the check engine light still on?
