Seat Mii Oil Pressure Warning Light Issue

I am getting a bit desperate. My 2014 Seat Mii with a gasoline engine, around 170337 km, has an oil pressure warning light in the speedometer, plus a stored error. It looks like the engine oil temperature sensor is bad. I think it's a defective cable or plug. Has anyone seen this?

I had something similar happen with my Mii. The oil pressure light is a worry. Did you check the car sensor connections? It could be a loose plug.

Thanks for the quick answer. Which car sensor connections should I check? Is there a specific engine or oil temperature sensor location to look at?

The oil temperature sensor was the cause for me. The shop said so after checking the error log. The oil pressure light came on because of this. I'd suggest a shop check the engine sensor. It might save time and damage.

I wanted to report back that the problem is fixed. The shop verified a bad connection to the engine oil temperature sensor. They swapped the connector, and the warning lights are off. The total was 95€ Thanks for the assistance.
