Seat Mii power drain issue

My 2016 Seat Mii with a gasoline engine is playing up. It's got kilometers on the clock and the starting is difficult. My multimeter is showing a continuous drain on Terminal 30, like something is constantly pulling power when it shouldn't be. I suspect it is the battery, as it is heavily discharged. Has anyone had anything similar? Could it be a bad earth, or something more involved in the power supply?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar thing with my Mii. Noticed it was struggling to start, like the battery was failing. Have you checked the basics, like the battery terminals? Could be a loose connection causing a voltage drop. It's always the simple things you overlook.

Terminals are clean and tight. Voltage seems okay when the engine is running, but drops significantly when I turn it off. How did you resolve yours? Did you have to work with the fuse box or wiring harness?

The voltage drop is a pain. I didn't fancy messing with the fuse box myself, electrics are complicated. I took mine to a garage, and they resolved it. Best bet is to get it checked by someone who knows what they're doing. Could save a headache and a potential electrical fire.

It was the battery, properly dead. A new one set me back 290€, and she's running smoothly again. Thanks for the pointers.
