Seat Mii Strange Behavior
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Seat Mii with a gasoline engine is experiencing issues such as a non-functional gear selection display, inoperative cruise control, and occasional starting problems. The suspected cause is a faulty clutch pedal switch or a defective cable or plug connection. After investigation, the problem was confirmed to be a faulty cable to the clutch switch, which, once replaced, resolved all issues.

When you say 'similar,' how similar? Was it also the clutch switch, or something else entirely? And which fuses should I be checking specifically?

Yes, it turned out to be the clutch switch in my case as well. I didn't check the fuses myself, to be honest. I took it to a workshop, and they diagnosed it pretty quickly. If you suspect the switch and have checked the wiring, it might be worth having a professional look at it.

Confirmed resolution. The cable to the clutch switch was indeed faulty. Replaced it; the car now starts, cruise control functions, and the gear selector display works. Thanks for the insight.

I had a similar problem with my Mii, although I'm not certain it was exactly the same. The symptoms sound familiar, especially the cruise control and starting issue. Have you checked the simple things like fuses related to the ignition or clutch? Maybe that faulty switch is just a symptom of something else.
