Seat Mii Tire Pressure Warning

I've got a weird issue with my 2019 Seat Mii with a gasoline engine. The tire pressure warning light keeps coming on, and the speedometer shows a 'tire pressure too low' error, even though the tires seem fine. I scanned the error memory and it also shows a tire pressure fault. I suspect the tire pressure sensor battery might be dead, since the car has quite a few kilometers on it. Anyone else had this?

Sounds like what happened to my Mii. The tire pressure light came on, and the display showed low pressure even after I inflated the tires. Did you check the air pressure with a pressure gauge to confirm?

Yeah, I used a pressure gauge and the tire pressure was fine. What did you end up doing to fix yours?

That's exactly what happened to mine. If the pressure is correct with the gauge, it's likely the sensor. I just took it to a workshop, they replaced the sensor, and the error went away. It's a bit of a pain but probably best to get it sorted properly.

Thanks for the help. I went to a local workshop, and it was a dead sensor battery. I had all four replaced, costing 280€. Now I need to remember to check the tire inflation regularly with a pressure gauge instead of relying on the sensors!
