Seat Mii Transmission Problems
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Seat Mii is experiencing transmission issues, including an engine warning light, emergency gearbox mode, unclean gear shifting, and grinding noises at 168,997 km. The problem is suspected to be related to the transmission oil temperature sensor or an oil sensor issue. A similar case was resolved by addressing a faulty temperature sensor and low gearbox oil level, which can cause overheating and trigger the sensor. The recommended solution is to check and rectify the oil level and sensor functionality promptly.

Overheating problems, you say? How did you figure out it was the temperature sensor? Was it just the MIL?

Yeah, MIL came on, gearbox went into limp mode. Diagnosed as faulty temperature sensor. If the oil level is low, that can cause overheating and trigger the sensor. Get it checked ASAP.

Appreciate the insight. Turns out the gearbox oil level was indeed low. Cost me 365€ to get sorted.

Sounds like the transmission issues I had with my Mii. Check the transmission oil temperature sensor. Are you getting any overheating problems?
